Hi friends! No big Costume Change post this week. My sister-in-law was in town this past weekend, and I wanted to hang with her instead of write. Oops! And generally my looks last week were pretty weather inapropos, because I AM SO READY FOR SUMMER TO GER HERE that I am living in a state of complete denial. [If anyone has tips for how to make summer ‘fits warm enough for cold and dreary rain, please advise!]

How to use a mood board: try to recreate an outfit literally (buying nothing new); steal good color palettes/combinations; experiment with a new accessory (hat! scarf!); channel a vibe (bold monochrome! French Riviera summer! Carrie Bradshaw’s messy-chic!); borrow a technique (light summer layers! long shorts with a cropped top!). The world is your happy hour oyster.
