What is Costume Change?

Costume Change is a weekly newsletter chronicling one theater gal’s personal style journey (I’m the gal, it’s me, hi, hello), as I attempt to get dressed and look gouda despite my somewhat chaotic, ever-changing lifestyle. We’re getting creative! We’re doing sneaky re-wears without outfit repeating! We’re thrifting! Living out of suitcases! Going from pilates to a show to a bar after! Yes I am that animal! But mostly we are having fun, and embracing change as an opportunity instead of an obstacle— inside of a supportive community of style-loving humans.

P.S. The name Costume Change comes from casual theater slang—used by folks who are accustomed to literal costume changes backstage—to describe changing clothes in general. Read more about it in the pilot Costume Change newsletter, here.

Stay up-to-date

You won’t have to worry about missing anything. Every new edition of the newsletter goes directly to your inbox. Newsletters drop on Mondays, our Holy Theater Day-Of-Rest.

On ads/affiliate links/sponsorship:

At the moment Costume Change is sponcon-free! And it is my hope that this remains a styling newsletter first and foremost—there’s so much we can do with the clothes we already have! The rare appearance of sponsored content will be *clearly marked.* Otherwise, any links are my honest to goodness recs. No kickbacks involved.
